With active shooting events on the rise, we set out to find a cost-effective and portable method to secure a door that may not have a lock or otherwise be securable. Whether it's at the hotel, hospital, or schools; we wanted to find a way to effectively barricade a door open or closed that would slow the aggressor. Or just a guaranteed way to prop the door open to move stuff without it giving way and slapping us in the rear. (Im sure you can relate to that agonizing pain of the knob jabbing you in the back).
After a dozen prototypes, we found a way to do just that. We have tested and tested, and even broke a door to ensure that this product is not only sure to reinforce the door from an intruder but also deployable in seconds.
While we cannot stop active shooting/intruder situations, we can help to deter the assailant from entering that specific area.
This door stop is made from High Strength ASA, designed to last.It is also a great self defense weapon in a last case scenario.
The Door Stop holder is printed in Glow in the Dark ABS, and includes a screw to mount the holder to the wall.
Note: Due to the teeth the doorstop only works on carpet. Availiable in Black or Red.
Custom colors available upon request, can also add basic text and logos to the back of the device.
